Hydromel: From the Greek name ὑδρόμελιhydromemeli, literally "water-honey" (see also melikraton and δδρόμηλο ν hydromelon). It is also the French name of Mead Hydro Mel. (See also idromele in Italy, hidromiel and aguamiel in Spanish, hidromel and aiguamel in Catalan, aguamel in Galician and hidromel in Portuguese). It is also used as the name of light or low alcohol mead. Melomel: Melomel is made from honey and every fruit. Depending on the fruit base used, some Memells may also be known by more specific names (see eg cyser, pyment, morat). Perhaps Greek μηλό μελιmelomeli literally means "Apple Honey" or "Tree Fruit Honey" (see also μελμμηλονmemeimelon)
