Science and Students: The World of Tomorrow

Everyone says that this generation is the future of society, people, and citizens. If this generation is not educated, if you want to grow and advance on the earth and learn how to help it, "next generation" will not exist. This is why science education is essential to our lives and the future of the earth. Unless it is not for scientific innovation and its treatment, we will still live in the age of darkness, a simple influenza kills the family, smallpox and other diseases lead to epidemics and panic.

Does long-term success of life focus on students focusing on STEM subjects? Do you focus on science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM)? What is necessary for the world of tomorrow's employment and leadership? Indeed, some of the most expensive work for recent graduates is STEM. Or the future will make people have more diverse skills - who pay more attention to art (STEAM)? The university needs to adapt to the changing needs of future workforce education or else their students will not be prepared for the world and available careers. Please tell me more

Introducing computer science education to various schools is a means to establish an unimpaired perspective in the future of global infrastructure. Especially in the Cook Islands, the importance of providing initial education of computer science to students all over the world is clear. Our Department of Education believes that "code time" campaign and value as an opportunity for students to practice problem-solving skills and regard them as career paths that can be programmed. 2016 is the first opportunity for the Cook Islands School to participate in the Code of Conduct. When doing our nationwide activities, the heads of most government departments will try to code! When they write code and work together to solve a puzzle, it allows authorities to understand assignable skills that are embodied in computational thinking.

By studying coding time, can students improve reading, math and science? This is a question we asked during Code.org's development. There is no doubt that computer science can train students' analytical skills, problem solving skills, and critical thought skills. In addition to coding and computer science, these skills are useful throughout the lifetime. In education, critical thinking power is useful in all subjects. If you teach "computer science, what are you going to reduce?" Is often a question. As a related question, "Our students are already fundamental enough to read and do mathematics." But what if learning coding and computer science helps to improve other subjects? This is an important research topic. There is no definitive answer yet, but the early signs are positive.
