In March 2018, the Russian Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Education and Science, Russian Academy of Sciences hosted a meeting entitled "Artificial Intelligence: Problems and Solutions - 2018". As a result of the conference, the Department of Defense announced the list of ten policies recommended at the conference. This list is not an official strategy of the Russian government, but it builds the foundation for national artificial intelligence strategy. The main recommendations include the establishment of a national system for artificial intelligence education and talent maintenance, the establishment of the National Artificial Intelligence Center, and the organization of war games to study the influence of artificial intelligence on military operations.
