Project citizens are an important part of the experience of Mary Junior High School. Project Citizen not only encourages problem solving, but also tells students to pay attention to community problems. It also allows students to participate in public policy and prepare them for the future of their students. It includes a five-step problem solving plan that will help students understand the critical way of thinking. The first step is to identify problems that affect our school. The second is to study information on the problem to understand the background.
Today, school safety is one of the most important parts of running a good school. So how can we make our school safer and better school? Project citizens are projects that students must do every seven years. Students will encounter problems and find solutions to the problem. The goal of the project citizens is simple. Project Citizen has four steps. First, students need to identify school and community problems. Then they studied the problem. - Through 1939, Hollywood experienced a very productive year with many high-quality movies. It shows details about what kind of people a student can be. If all the teachers attending school do this, in the eighth grade they should know what kind of self discipline can respect the teacher, the class itself, and their colleagues.
After having received secondary education for several years, I found projects and project citizens of junior high school and high school students designed by the citizen education center. The way of thinking is simple. It is to select government related issues, investigate it, investigate solutions, propose solutions and implement solutions. The citizenship of the project is not a curriculum full of contents, it is an official for citizens to participate in the formulation of public policy. There is no doubt that public policy is not the most exciting topic for junior high school students - especially if traditional education is needed. However, Project Citizen invites them to places where they think that they are reserved for adults - important adults - and by doing so encourages them to become active members of the community. Project citizenship is usually my student's favorite project. Probably because it is the unit that they are given the most power.
