School Prayer

Do you pray or not pray? Many different problems are often discussed about political issues. One common problem is the question of public prayer at school. I think that this is a need to be forgiven. Our pledge of loyalty is that a country is under God and gives freedom and justice to all. If we allow children to quote the words at school, do not allow them to pray to the public. The ability to express myself is what every child needs. I certainly understand that each class has children of different religions, but they should be able to express themselves rather than keep them silent.

In today's society, school prayers are very controversial issues. The question of school prayer is whether in the public school system, students should be allowed to pray as a class at the beginning of school. The problem of school prayers began when the British did not approve the way to impose religion on them in the late 16th century, so Puritans, known as pilgrims, decided to come to the colony. Even in colonies, pilgrims have religious problems and they have to adopt a very creative strategy to pray. When people get caught in a secret service, they need to face the results of law enforcement agencies, whether they display more content ... or not.

Prayer to the school was a troublesome problem for the United States for many years. In the early 19th century, the reading of the Bible and prayers was common in public schools. However, since insisting that it infringes the right of the first revision, the government has not been allowed to support religion and since then the Supreme Court has opposed school prayers of all forms. However, the school can not prohibit students praying.

In the 18th century, the 19th century and the early 20th century, public schools usually started a new day through verbal prayers and reading of the Bible. This situation began to change when the US Supreme Court in 1962 gave the first decision on public school prayers. Steven Engel, the founding member of the New York Citizenship Freedom Association, acted against his son 's school to force prayers for public schools established by the New York Council.
