The Department of Labor will support students to play leadership roles in the workplace and community. The program aims to provide an interdisciplinary program for college students and workers seeking university education.

The UAA Social Work Academy will evaluate students' learning and participate in program evaluations to participate in ongoing program improvement. UAA certification requires social work school program evaluation. It requires each plan to submit an annual plan assessment plan and report results and changes to the course and / or plan based on plan evaluation and council. Acquired a bachelor's degree in social work (B.SW) from Faculty of Social Welfare, School of Arts and Sciences. The program is based on the National Certification Organization for Social Welfare Education Council, Social Welfare Education Program, and is based on the recommendation of the Association of Social Workers. The B.W. plan is fully approved by the Social Work Education Council. The main goal of B.SW is to prepare for graduates of professional vocational training in social work.

Social work school joined the Human Environmental Science School in 1988. He has a bachelor's degree in social work, a master's degree in social work, and a social work degree with a social work school. MU's social work school offers the only doctoral program on social work for public institutions in Missouri state. Through expansion of the University of Missouri, educational activities are handed down to the people.
