Scholarships

Every year there is a joint scholarship (students of class A and class B). Alliance Scholarship is funded by four European partner universities participating in MEME.

MEME's entry fee is 9,000 euros per year (class A student) or 4,500 euros per year (class B student).

Donation of 500 euros per year (equivalent to 1,000 euros) as a travel and installation fee for scholarship holders under 4,000 km (4,000 km) from Groningen

I also hope that the European Commission will begin offering EMJMD scholarships in 2018.

The EMJMD scholarship is awarded to class A students and the total amount is around 50,000 euros. In short, EMJMD scholarships are included:

Accommodation and living expenses are 24,000 euros (pay 1,000 euros monthly for 24 months).

Scholarship holders travel 2,000 euros per year (equivalent to 3,000 euros) annually and the country of residence is less than 4,000 km from Groningen (more than 4,000 kilometers apart).

Due to EU regulations, EMJMD scholarship recipients have some limitations. Most importantly, they lose a (partial) scholarship when they spend their research period in their home country or staying outside the MEME consortium for more than 3 months. Scholarship decisions are primarily based on student ranking in the application and selection process and only the highest ranked students are eligible for these scholarships. Therefore, the process of applying for these scholarships is an integral part of the selection process. Students wishing to compete for scholarships are only required to state on the MEME application form. A scholarship recipient may lose a scholarship if there is not enough progress. In this case, the conditions under which this can occur and the procedures to follow it are clearly stated in the student agreement.

MEME students with self funds who can not pay MEME participation fee can apply for partial participation fee exemption. If such an exemption is obtained, the entry fee will be reduced by 50%. As a result, the participation fee for class A students is reduced to 4,500 euros per year and the annual participation fee for class B students is reduced to 2,250 euros. Reduction of entry fee for each group is restricted. For interested students, please contact the management coordinator for details.

Finally, there is another way to apply for a scholarship at 100% or another way. These scholarships vary from country to country and are sponsored by each government. Scholarships offered to graduates include New Zealand NZH, Australian Endeavor scholarship, British federal incentive, and Chevening scholarship and European Erasmus Mundus scholarship. However, in order to apply for government funded scholarships, it is necessary to present a certificate of application. The application form is not an admission letter from the university. Counselors are usually updated based on application certificates. An admission notice will be required in the second half of the application procedure
