A sector shaped shark shark is a medium-sized shark distributed worldwide. The most prominent feature of this shark is its "hammer" head. They are threatened by commercial fishery and are mainly used for shark fin business. Two different groups of fan-shaped hammerhead sharks are listed as endangered species and two are listed as a threat to endangered species law
The NOAA fishery is committed to protecting and protecting fan-shaped hammerhead sharks. Our scientists and partners use various innovative technologies to study, understand and protect this species.

WildEarth Guardians and Friends of the Animals on August 14, 2011, are fan-shaped hammerhead sharks threatened by the European Space Agency or are in danger of extinction for DPS. On November 28, 2011, we issued a notice indicating that we may need to make it public. In April 2013, we announced a draft rule plan of the European Aviation Aviation Security Agency and the current status of seeds. In July 2014 I listed 4 DPS in ESA.
Conservation Measures: Shaped shark sharks are posted in CITES Appendix II. This means that you must register all international trade of that kind. In the Galapagos marine protected area, fan-shaped shark sharks are protected by law In 2007, Ecuador issued two new decree establishing better management measures. As part of the endangered shark Galapagos program, we are cooperating with partners to ensure that they are protected throughout their lifetime, including their immigrants.
The most common shark shark, fan-shaped shark shark is a migratory species seen in warm temperate and tropical waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. They can be separated from their immediate family by the front of a "fan" of a hammer type head (called a cephalopod). Head-like pollen has been developed to improve vision and to provide a wider area for electroreceptors sharks rely on deposits and underarm armpit hunting. The body is thin, the top is brown - bronze, the bottom is white. The tooth is a backward facing triangle, ideal for catching prey. Their diet is from a group of fish such as sardines, mackerel, squid, stingray, squid and even crustaceans.
A fan-shaped shark shark has various other names and is known around the world as a bronze shark, kidney shark or southern shark shark. This is the most common shark in the family of hammerheads, mainly distributed in the tropical and temperate coastal waters of the world. The fan-shaped hammerhead sharks are mainly distributed on the continental shelf and prefer the deep sea area. It is found deeply at a depth of 1600 feet (500 meters) and is often found in shallower waters of about 80 feet (25 meters). They are sensitive to light and due to their enhanced social behavior these sharks are closer to the coastline during the day and mostly stay deep in the night.
