Saving the Dolphins

Forcing people to moral corruption, such as capturing and killing innocent creatures, can simply make money. Many people have tried to understand this since dolphins appeared in various parts of the world including Japan. Since the mid-1860s, "hunting" has become a tradition of Japan. Over the years, they "improved" the techniques and tools used in the meat processing process. This problem evoked widespread concern around the world, and many countries banned slaughter due to animal cruelty in Japan.

In 2004, we started the Save Japan Dolphins event. Through educational activities in Japan, the number of people who eat dolphins has dramatically decreased. When we started, about 1,600 dolphins were killed annually in Tai Chi. According to reports, in the 2016 - 17 season, 595 people died. The documentary "Cove" awarded Cossacks depicts the activities of Earth Island Research Institute in Tai Chi to stop dolphin hunting. Recently, after 10 years of pressure, the World Zoo Aquarium Association agreed to stop membership in the Japanese aquarium to purchase dolphins from Tai Chi. Accordingly, Japanese zoos and aquarium voted overwhelmingly to stop purchasing live dolphins from Tai Chi

Several dolphins for each hunting are chosen for the captivity and can be sold to marine parks around the world. In May 2015, the World Zoo Aquarium Association (WAZA) banned trafficking dolphins from Tai Chi in Japan. Dolphins are sold to the Ocean Park and swim with the Dolphin Resort which is not part of WAZA. The National Maritime Fisheries Agency refused to obtain permission to import four false killer whales caught in Japanese hunting cars from Ocean World. In recent years, Japanese hunting dolphins are exported to China, Taiwan, Egypt. Members of the International Maritime Animal Trainer Association (IMATA) have been observed many times in Japanese drives.

Dolphins may be hunted in places like Japan, which is known as dolphin hunting. In addition to hunting, they also face the threat of bycatch, habitat loss, and marine pollution. Dolphins have been portrayed by various cultures all over the world. Like the movie series Free Willy, dolphins occasionally appear in literature and movies. Dolphins are sometimes imprisoned and trained. The most common dolphin is Bottlenose Dolphin, and there are about 60 captured orcas.
