Same Sex Marriage and the Church

What I interviewed was Pastor Hernan Arias, pastor of St. Antonius of Padua, Pasea, New Jersey. Henan believes that he plays a very important role in political socialization. The following is a thorough interview about Pastor Hernan Arias and the role as a pastor in society and politics. One of the first questions raised in his interview was a gay marriage and his view on that subject. One of the things he began studying when he first became a pastor was marriage and its purpose.

On December 20, 2013, when US District Judge Robert J. Shelby unlocked the ban on gay marriage Utah, he again raised a topic of gay marriage and LDS church, and that it would provide equal protection of the US Constitution He said he was infringing. According to the terms of use, the church has issued instructions on same-sex marriage to Utah. This includes the position that the church does not agree with the judgment of the court, but that people who have gay marriage should not be treated contemptuously. In addition, church leaders are prohibited from marrying with their own power. Also, the property of the church can not be used for gay marriage or entertainment.

Religious institutions strongly oppose the legalization of same-sex marriage. Catholic churches and other churches think that it is wrong to legalize same-sex marriage and is considered a crime. Marriage is a coalition between men and women, not two people of same sex. According to opinion polls, Canadian views on the definition of traditional marriage are supported by 42%, but 35% oppose, 23% undecided. The Cardinal wrote to the prime minister to address various issues of gay marriage, stating that "men and women's partnership is the beginning and basis of human society and family is the first and important cell of society" . Allowing gay marriage affects society as a whole, customs, and social law.
