Samdruptse Hill, "Hill with hope" at an altitude of 2,134 m (7000 ft), only 5 km from Namuci. This magnificent mountain is decorated with the giant statue of Gurin Rinpoche; the patron saint of Sikkim has been blessed for over 1200 years. A statue of 45 meters high overlooking the city, golden light shines under the sun. From the mountains you can see spectacular views of the mountains. Kangchenjunga is on a dense wooded hill under the blue painted sky. The mountain is believed to be a dormant volcano and it is only prayer that can save it from the eruption. In the premises of the statue there is a deep collection of historical photos of Sikkim including faded photos of Mahatma Gandhi as a joy of history lovers. That statue was an incredible engineering victory built under the auspices of the Sikkim government for about seven years. The cornerstone of the statue was built by the Dalai Lama in 1997.
In the surroundings of the Samdruptse Mountain there are many sights like the very popular Shiva Mandir with a huge statue of Shiva, an important part of Solophok Chardham. Hiker can use the thrilling trail to the nearby Mount Tendon and Menam, or go for an adventure seeking a soul around Menam Wildlife Sanctuary or Tendon State Biodiversity Park. In addition, Namchi is also the center of a beautiful monastery and you can not miss the people visiting the Sainte-Rousse Mountains, such as Lalan Abbey, Dringonpa, Ngadak Abbey and Seldap Chorin Abbey.
Just 7 km from Samdruptse Hill to Namchi, the main Sikkim city can use the regular SSRTC bus / shared taxi to access Namuchi.
The best time to visit this place is from February to May and from September to mid December. The admission fee applied here is Rs. 30 per adult

The world 's largest Buddhist Padma Sambava (118 ft.), Also known as the patron saint of Sikkim, Gurin Rinpoche, is located in The Wish Fulfilling Hill, opposite Namuchi. It was completed in February 2004. It is said that Samdruptse Mountain is actually a dormant volcano. According to myths, Buddhist monks were at the top of the mountain and prayed that the volcano would settle. On the way to Samdruptse, there is a rock garden a few kilometers from the town. This area is enjoying the mountain of Kan Chen Zonga also called Mount Kangchenjunga which is the third highest mountain in the world.
