Saki’s “The Interlopers”: Analysis

Saki's novel "The Interlopers" is exploring the complexity of friendship and competition. This story is a European forest, occurring one evening in winter. The story background is similar to the plot; the trees must be tightly coupled so that Ulrich and George must work together to survive, the trees can be advanced in the cold winter.

By saying a disagreement between the two families, the exposition did a good job of building a suspense. As Georg and Ulrich hunt each other in the dark woods, the feeling of imminent bad luck is rising. Suspense reached boiling point when men met and looked at each other trying to kill each other. However, there is no shooting. "It is very possible to maximize your passion for your life, but a man raised by a code that is restricted by civilization, except for his fire and honor, can easily be called a neighbor You can not kill with cold blood. "(P.44) The top branch has crashed into a man, just as the two are shooting. For George and Ulrich, the sense of suspense continued, sadness and compassion for George and Ulrich continued.

Readers expressed great sympathy for this situation. Does one argument become uncontrollable and destroy everything in a single life many times? Those people are lying under the trees, crouching in the cold, I realize that their way of doing it is ridiculous. As with almost every Saki story, "The Interlopers" has a dark and ironic end. Their teamwork will also summon the wolves, as Ulrich and George chose to work together to end their disagreement and accomplish each other's rescue. The end of Saki meant that these people were killed by wolves rather than saved by their people. The ending has not only the choice of the style of Saki, but also many uses. This is some explanation. These people look like friends but before the Ulrich realized that their "rescue workers" were wolves, the two men kept focusing on who would save them. Georg had asked Ulrich to ask if they knew that their people were on a business trip, which suggests that he is still competing with Ulrich. Thus, Saki shows that if George and Ulrich are rescued by other men, George and Ulrich are more likely to return to their original fighting style.

"Intruder" ends when a man becomes a friend after becoming an enemy of his life. Will they be killed by wolves?

Saki's "invasion" is about hate, passive, and cruel nature's behavior. Ulrich von Gradwitz and Georg Znaeym are two people constantly fighting. In order to increase their own confrontation, nature complicates night hunting and ends their lives. "But a man raised under restricted civilization was unable to shoot the neighbor easily with cold blood and shoot the neighbor easily." They were longing for the ending of the opponent. But society has kept them away from their actual behavior. They hate myself and want to get sick but they are not completely ethical and they do not hesitate to kill people. Georg Znaeym is a cumbersome person. If his family is considered a person with other tricks, the court believes there is no reason not to hunt in that place.
