The San Ramon Valley USD recommends safe, disciplined, non-toxic schools that will help effective drugs and anti-violence programs certified in the study prevent dangerous behaviors and set high academic standards for all students I believe it will be established. Youth development is essential for all students to have academic success. The plan that we chose was carried out faithfully through regular investigation of California's healthy children and climate investigation in our area and was evaluated regularly. SRVUSD believes that comprehensive drug and violence prevention programs need to be coordinated with other schools and regional services, including age-appropriate activities. Program selected by SRVUSD:
Teach students to recognize social pressure of illegal drug use and pressure from peers, and resistance to illegal drug use

ED The Safe Non-toxic School Program (SDFSP) was founded in 1994 and offers a comprehensive and collaborative approach to preventing teen school violence and alcohol, tobacco and drug use. SDFSP manages national formula grants and voluntary discretionary grant programs and provides technical assistance to schools in formulating comprehensive plans to prevent violence and drug abuse. The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) provides funds to evaluate the organizational structure and effectiveness of various projects across the country. In this evaluation we will try to decide how to tailor school-based drug prevention programs such as Drug Awareness Resistance Education (DARE) to better respond to the needs of specific people. This research also recommends new structures and operations to improve and extend DARE and other existing drug prevention education programs.
To implement this new drug and alcohol program requires several steps. The first step is to find and get the funds for drug and alcohol programs. "Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's safe and non-toxic school and community program (SDFSP) fund almost all school districts to support drug and violence prevention programs and to support the construction and maintenance of a safe learning environment "(National Drug Control Policy, 1999, paragraph 12) This is our funding source
