The purpose of Part A's assignment is to understand human growth related to each lifecycle group. There are 8 age groups, each with its own developmental stage and tasks related to it. The first age group is a baby, the relevant stages of development are trust and distrust. The development agenda associated with a given age group is to provide love and bonds. Other age groups are early childhood, and developmental stage includes autonomy and shame and doubt. Team development mission is to do toilet training and self-management. The next age group is school education including initiative and guilt, and the related development tasks are academic success, friendship, social skills and friendship.

The shared vision developed by Montessori answers the following questions: 1) What is the real nature of human nature, 2) What is the process of human growth from birth to 21 years old? 3) What are the child rearing and educational functions expected to understand human growth? Three important elements of the SDT have occurred: (1) humans are trying to master their own power and emotion, (2) essentially have tendencies of growth, development, and comprehensive function. People need to grow from their social environment (including medical professionals) to realize their potential (Deci & Vansteenkiste, 2003).
