Ideas will flow freely in my mind when it comes to creating events related to the values of universities and charitable organizations. There are things that are elusive and intangible, but I hope that what I suggested today is concrete and practical. When I was young, my parents sent me to a Jewish sleep camp in Missouri on my request. This camp is a respected camp where young Jews grow to teenagers. What comes to mind is a rope course to decide which activity is best suited to Zeta Beta Tau (hereinafter referred to as ZBT). It is related to UT and ZBT values.
One of my favorite things about the camp's camp is the day the camp is kept high. The high rope consists of three different rope routes: Jacob's ladder (my love), Catwalk, and Pamper Pole. These rope courses may be difficult, but depending on who you are and how you look at things, they are also easy. Jacob's ladder is made up of four long blocks of wood called "ladder" about 50 feet in length. To complete this rope course, you need a partner to help you. The purpose of this rope course is to work with your partner. This is you and your partner. That's all. You need your partner and your partner needs you. It really depends on others, this is a good lesson to learn.
One to two weeks ago, my freshman seminar participated in the rope course. A boy who knows what we are doing. You might think that "What is a rope course?" Let me first speak about rope course experience. The theory behind the rope course is that if a person is supported to leave that person's "comfort zone" and there are successful experiences, there is a strong condition for a positive change. This concept is also called "challenge development". When I participated in this challenge, it really moved me away from my comfort zone.
On the first day of the course, there was an early morning P.T. session. All 39 of us are divided into different groups, ie ropes; each is strong for 5 or 6 people. Our rope instructor is Subhash Thakur of Himachal Pradesh. After lunch, everyone gets personal, technical and general tools. Two rope climbing ropes are also issued for each rope, and rope members are carried in turn for the remaining rope. In the latter half of that day, there were only theoretical classes concerning the expedition plan and first aid at the auditorium. We were told that we need to prepare a document for the expedition and submit it at the end of the course. One of the aims of this course is to make climbing leaders plan adventures and make everyone pay attention. Every rope has a peak, they plan an adventure and prepare a report for this.
