I am writing a novel based on the history of my family. My relatives immigrated a lot from Poland and Russia to Moldova and Romania, from Romania to France, to Germany and Israel, and from Israel and Romania to the United States. In my world, we all grew up in bilingual or trilingual, and it is not a coincidence that grandparents speak with an accent is a normal condition. In fact, the movement of people from one country to another is the essence of my story. But that is also modernity and the essence of America. In my study of my novel, I met a document entitled "Basic Principles of Law No. 2650/1940, which regulates the legal status of the Romanian Jewish group" from August 1940. At that time, Romania was affiliated with Nazi Germany. The document has more than 12 pages and is always called "Jewish problem". Familiar? This document continues to contain an intercept list of the Jews. What happened next to Romanian and Eastern European Jews is a well documented fact
In 1989, Romania was struggling after the collapse of the Communist government. Documentary photographer Mike Carroll visited Romania with a fierce confrontation while shooting the most terribly shocking scenes in the wonderful scene of Romania in the 20th century. Mike tells a painful story, opens his eyes to the eyes of the Western countries, and makes Romania powerless. Bang Bang Club is an emotional film exploring important themes. This movie is the story of four photographers trying to record racial discrimination in South Africa. These characters take extreme steps to capture what's happening in the torn country to regain the story. The movie is based on the book "Bang Bang Club: Snapshot of the Hidden War"
You may already know the Communist regime established by the Soviet Union of Romania, but their history also includes Roman settlers, Medieval wars of the Ottoman Empire, World War and Trade Union movement. Romania has many historical museums, ancient fortresses, and a wonderful castle. Do not forget to check out one of the coolest ... Dracula's castle! For most people, life in Romania is easy. Especially in major cities, the ancient traditions and lifestyles are still very active. An antique private house with chickens and cows keeping sheep and cows in the garden is just a part of many shameful places that you can see when strolling the countryside. Romanians may not be the wealthiest people, but they are the most basic and happy people you have ever seen!
