Role Of America in Human Trafficking

Trafficking and trafficking of sexual exploitation is one of the fastest growing problems in the world. It is called 'dark side of globalization'. Because the great rise of human slavery entails a world economy without borders (Miller). Trafficking is an international crime that infringes the people of all countries, and even the communities of that country. When I learned that a 12 year old Egyptian girl was imprisoned as a family slave in a family parking garage in Irving, California, the widespread impact of trafficking shocked my own community.

Trafficking is equivalent to contemporary slavery. The responsibilities and expectations of these people are very absurd. Approximately 27 million people worldwide are currently in slavery. At the present time, more people are enslaved than at any time in history.
