The theme of operation and fraud is very common in Shakespeare's tragedy Othello. Rodrigo is a perfect embodi- ment of this classic theme. His addiction and vulnerability, and his love for Desdemona made him a typical loving fool, and hence became a perfect target for intellectual Iago. Another feature of him is that he is bold and has occasional problems of rash. These qualities made it possible for him to play an important role in Othello which advances the theme of fraud and operation.
Rodrigo is Iago, his idiot's idiot. Being in love with Desdemona and preparing to do something for her, Rodrigo is easily guided by evil Iago. Roderio did not have loyalty to Othello, and he felt Othello stole his love for him. If Rodrigo did not do his "dirty" job, I would be a less lethal weapon. Rodrigo finally smartly let Iago manipulate him. "Every day you give me some equipment Iago" (Rodrigo, 4th game 2nd line, line 180) Despite his doubts, I persuaded him to follow the plan to kill Cassio; "I I am not devoting much effort to this problem, but he gave me satisfactory reasons.
As a desperate love to the female Desdemona, a blind fool, Rodrigo was hurt by Iago who used his weakness to accomplish revenge. Since he knows that Roderi is fully devoted to his weakness in winning Desdemona and her obsession, he will make good use of it. With the promise of unity with Desdemona, Iago wished to distort the weaknesses of Roderigo to his favorable point, he wanted money and wanted to keep his hands clean. I've got motivated him, manipulating feelings towards Desdeemona. In the moment of Rodrigo 's despair, when I' m gonna get bored with Othello for the first time, he made me believe that the attraction of Demona would end, so there will be a new way to get close to her. Later he made him believe that Rodrigo suffered from Cassio, who gave Rodrigo the power to kill Michael as she knocked out. Rodrigo is a simple trusted fool and believes in all Iago
I've played a reliable friend for all young idiots Rodrigo at all play. Regarding all the frauds of Iago, Rodrigo was completely lost. Iago uses Rodrigo to do his dirty work, but Rodrigo does not know what he is using. In many cases, Iago left Rodrigo and fought himself at the risk of Iago's own problems. One thing happened when Rodrigo faced Brabantio's marriage about Othello and Desdemona. Iago is very familiar with Roderigo likes Desdemona. This provides Iago with a perfect opportunity to persuade Roderigo to execute his order. Iago knows how to maintain Roderigo. Because it uses the love for Desdemona's leverage, I understand Iago's understanding of Roderigo. I 'm tired of Odello and pointing to Desdemona (I, iii, l, 376) facing "a mistake in her choice". This further confirms to Rodrigo that he can win Desdeemona and continue with it.
