Arsenal fishing team was founded in 1989 and was designated National Wildlife Refuge in 1992 just before Rocky Mountain Arsenal. Twenty five years later, hundreds of handicapped people have overcome obstacles with the help of Arsenal's anglers. Volunteers assist 50 to 60 people each year and have more than 500 locals since 2007. Many people come back year after year. "We got a lot of the same family," Fetherman explained. "Some children may be 18 or 19 years old; when they start to appear, they are only 8 or 9 years old," he continued. "Some of them no longer require children's hospitals, but in the past they are still hospitalized, so we are still out to enjoy these projects."
