Clement, Roberto Walker (1934 - 1972), Puerto Rico's professional baseball player, baseball hall of fame (1973), and the second player won the US stamp award. Roberto Clemente Walker was born in Puerto Rico at Barrio San Anton in Carolina State on 18 August 1934. The smallest Roberto among the four children was excellent in athletics and won medals with javelin and short distance races. But his real love is baseball. He played amateur baseball at Juncos Double A Club and immediately competed with Santurce Crabbers in the Puerto Rico winter league.

San Juan Stadium in Puerto Rico was named Roberto Clemente Stadium in 1973; two baseball stadiums are in the professional baseball field, Roberto Clemente Stadium and Double A. The Sports Academy's Escuela de los Deportes has Double-A Baseball Park. Today, this stadium is called Ciudad Deportiva Roberto Clemente. For Clement, Pittsburgh Pirates is one of the most popular baseball teams in Puerto Rico. In Pittsburgh, Six Street Bridge was renamed to his memory. The city of Pittsburgh is located on the north side of the city on the North Shore Avenue of Roberto Clemente Memorial Park, which contains the relief of the bronze of the sculptor Eleanor Miller Building. In 2007 Roberto Clement Museum opened in Lawrenceville district of Pittsburgh. Near the old Forbes stadium where he began his career, the city of Pittsburgh renamed the street with his name.

New York State opened the Roberto Clemente State Park in Bronx in 1973. In Brentwood Suffolk, Timberline Town Park and the swimming pool were renamed Roberto Clement Park. His name is attached to Roberto Clemente High School in Chicago, Roberto Clemente Charter School in Allentown, Roberto Clemente College in Pennsylvania, Detroit, Roberto Clemente Elementary School in Patterson, New Jersey, New Roberto Clemente High School. Masaya in Nicaragua has Roberto Clemente Stadium and Germantown, Maryland has a secondary school called Roberto W. Clemente Middle School. In addition, he is Roberto Clemente Minor League in Brook Park, Newark, New Jersey, the same name as the Roberto Clemente Institute of Independent Arts (IS 195) in New York and the Clemente Leadership Institute in New Mountain. Character Connecticut Haven Elementary school in Rochester, New York State was also named after Clemente.
