The Human Genome Project (HGP), the world's largest collaborative biology project, requires multiple countries and billions of dollars to sequence the genome. Thousands of people took part in this project and took 13 years to complete. They have approximately 3 billion pairs of A, T, C and G in the human genome. The way to deal with this project is to divide 150,000 pairs and use computing power to save information. This method would involve the use of fluorescently labeled nucleotides to create a list of four proteins.
