This article discusses basic questions. How important is rice for Filipinos? What does it mean to understand how to approach and focus rice? To answer this question, this article focuses on the structural status of most Filipinos in rice. According to the paper, at the moment, most Filipino people use rice as a consumer rather than as a rice producer.
