Rhoda Brook's Diary from The Withered Arm by Thomas Hardy

The diary of Roda Brooke of The Withered Arm is a diary of Thomas Hardy and when I squeezed milk this morning, I accidently heard that other milk maids are chatting about my ex-girlfriend and my son's father I am very scared. And he is married to a woman. This is very typical for him. He knows what he did just to make me angry. He made me very embarrassed. I have never talked with this village, but I call it a witch and a prostitute even after spending 12 years with a beautifully forbidden boy.

Thomas Hardy chose to distract your attention to 'wilted arms'. Rather than focusing on the character's loneliness, the four are the protagonists of Roda, Gertrude, boys and farmer's cabin. We focus on Roda in the first three chapters, but when you are chatting with other people you will notice that they are isolated but if you continue this paragraph you will not participate. There is a Farmer Lodge far away from her son, where she has her own house and land. When Farrar Lodge returned from his new marriage, we joined the story. Rohda is expressed as "a thin and fady woman whose one-thirtieth milk has been separated from others" to show that he is different. When she returned home, her house was expressed as "leaving others to a lonely place above water"

Thomas Hardy chose not to focus on the depiction of a lonely person, but always chose to divert attention, but three people, Roda, Gertrude, and the hero of that boy.
