Battle allegory in David Thoreau's "Battle of Ali" The record of the reading of my choice was David Thoreau's "Battle of Ants." I chose this article because I think this is a strong article about interesting topics. I was surprised at that boring theme when I first read, but after reading a few times I began to see its true beauty. The story is about the government and war, and it is portrayed by a fight between ants and death. "Militant's army covered all the hills and valleys in my garden, regardless of whether it was red or black, the ground was scattered with all the dead and the dead."

Compared to the article by Virginia Woolf, Henry David Thoreau's "The Battle of Ants" is approaching the human life in a large-scale society by comparing ant behavior fighting our actions .
