In this lesson, students are excited about finding their own songs for analysis. Usually, the song I request is at least PG or at least a clean version. Students are asked to bring headphones on the day before the course. In addition, we limit the time students spend searching for two songs. Students can see how much time they have since they can find an online timer to show
Students will receive handouts of 3 row charts. When listening to the songs they chose, they analyze them according to the given rhetorical method, eg tone, suggestion, metaphor or metaphor. There are 8 devices in total
