Rhetorical Analysis of Lincoln's Second Inaugural Speech

In Lincoln 's "Second Inauguration Ceremony", a lot of people were inspired by this refreshing and enthusiastic speech. It was a long war, and Lincoln was concerned about the damage.

In the second inaugural speech by Abraham Lincoln he used many different rhetorical strategies to unite the broken country. During the speech, the civil war has come to 4 years, it is almost over. In this speech, Lincoln used implicit, parallel structures and terminology to unify the north and the south. A rhetorical strategy can be seen everywhere in the Lincoln speech. He uses God and the Bible to show that both north and south people have the same values. Lincoln said, "Everyone sought a simpler victory and the result is less basic and shocking, neither reading the same Bible, praying to the same god, and anyone can help him with other I pray to a person, "Lincoln talks about the Bible, as most citizens are very religious, most people can keep in touch.

Abraham Lincoln made two inaugural speech, and their rhetorical talent and eloquence were excellent. Processing them chronologically may be meaningful, but the second of the two released on March 4, 1865 is particularly interesting. Lincoln began his second term as president of the United States.
