Reyna Grande is an award-winning novelist and memoir. She was awarded the American Book Award, ElPremio Aztlan's Literary Award and Latin American Book Award. Her second novel "Dancing with butterfly" was popular. In 2012, she was nominated for the famous national review critic award for her memoir "Distance between us".
