Revision Rich

In Adrienne Rich's article "Awakening: Writing Revision", the author wrote an article about her personal experience as a female writer in a male-dominated society. Her article includes a poem she wrote at various times in her life to show her transformation of the sentences. As a female writer in a society where men are the dominant society, Rich started writing "man's way" in a traditional way, but while she continues writing, Rich breaks these traditional styles , Formed her own style.

To prepare for the first writing project, the course reads Adrienne Rich 's article "When to die, wake up: write a revision". In her article, Rich provides her journey to become a writer. She always "fixes" her life based on all new events and experiences. Rich is a combination of sound and genre throughout the article using personal stories, academic discussions, and even poetry. For that reason, Rich unilaterally emphasizes her life, creates individuals and public perspectives that show his or her life as a typical of time and environment, and her readers can learn from her. experience

What does it mean to modify writers' words? This is a question that Adrienne Rich is trying to answer with her essay "When we wake up to death: visualize by rewriting". If the word revision is divided into two parts, it is like reexamination. Vision means "see something", the prefix means "again" or "back". The word "re-visual" means "see something again". We told the rich that we had to go one step further and look at it with new eyes and make it different viewpoint. . . . When studying the work of Paul Auster and John Edgar Wideman, you can see how they use much of the same revision principle to help them complete the process they write. Oster tried to explain the man his father was, but used many of these visual steps for his discovery. Wideman used many realistic ideas and explained how his brothers were imprisoned at last.

Nancy suspended her preamble paragraph, "Paul Oster and John Edgar Weismann to express the definition of rich revision to convince the reader that their work is based on reality I use their work.The use of revision to separate fact facts from fiction rather than fictitious fairy tales is presented to Nancy in her dialog exercises.With Auster and Wideman writing novels in addition to nonfiction , Nancy extends this duality by applying this Rich re-visual concept to Auster and Wideman, as both refer to writing their own novels in their novels.
