Of the people Eddie met, only five people met again in heaven. The first of the five people was "Blue Man", an Eddie that was killed for a heart attack when he ran out of the road as a child's ball. The second person Eddie met in heaven was the former captain in the Second World War. The captain was a person who saved Eddie's life. He tried to run to burn the underworld's shadow.

The five people you met in heaven is Mitch Albom's novel. It follows the life and death of a maintenance worker named Eddie. Eddie was killed and sent to heaven, where he met five people who had a significant influence on him while he was alive. It was published by Hyperion in 2003 and has been on the New York Times best seller list for 95 weeks. The story begins with an elderly gentleman called Eddie who is in charge of maintenance of an amusement park called Ruby Terminal (also known as Salt Pier). Eddie is the well-known face of the terminal. Sometimes called "Eddie Maintenance" because it patches his overalls. He was seriously injured as a soldier during the Second World War, but Edi was able to finish his work (he was never satisfied with his dog life and took over his work from his father).
Mitch Albom builds the rest of the novel by alternating the nervous encounter in Eddie's current heaven and the various birthday memories of Eddie. Eddie's first stop in Paradise was Ruby Dock, 75 years ago of his death. It seems that all his deadly pain has disappeared. It was here that Eddie met Blue Man, and when Eddie was eight years old, he was a member of ruby dog. Blue Man revealed to Eddie that he is responsible for the death of Blue Man. Young Eddie rushed to a young man to chase the runaway baseball, but a young man's fluttering nerve caused him to get involved in a car accident and eventually killed him. Eddie asked the blue guy whether the little girl he tried to save from falls really survived, but his companion did not react. Blue Man finally told Eddie that he had to look at four more people in order to continue his journey to the posthumous world.
