This series represents the particular culture and history of the Choctaw tribe living in Bayuilacom, Louisiana. Geography, history, society, languages, ethnology and myths of Choctaw living in Bayuilacon Region, legends and religions are included. In the past, Choctaws was led by the two chief committees of each Choctaw band. Today, the Supreme and Parliamentarians of Choctaw are elected like senators and governors.

Choctaw is the third largest tribe recognized by the federal government. Since the middle of the 20th century, Choctaw founded new institutions such as tribal universities, housing authorities, justice system and so on. Today, in Choctaw State in Oklahoma State, the Choctaw tribe, which is recognized by the Commonwealth of the Choctaw Indian band of Mississippi State and Jokka Indian's Jena band. Mississippi also recognizes another band, the smaller Choctoo band is located in Louisiana, Alabama and Texas. ABC Choctaw is recognized by the Federal Government as 19 CFA 1000 and 25 USC 4101 as the 1986 Native American Self-determination Act (formerly known as the "Indian Residential Act of 1937").
