Arthur Miller 's play' Crucible 'can catch a glimpse of the notorious magical hysteria that happened in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692. Pastor John Hale was a good man who became a perfect and good citizen of Massachusetts in the 1600s. He is a godly and faithful law and faith, an excellent Puritan Christian.
