Reunification between North and South Korea

The economic disparity between the two countries has narrowed by 20 times, unification is like a distant dream. 25 million Koreans will soon form a unified North Korean base of over 75 million strongly newly formed. Many politicians in the north have been prosecuted for crime and human rights abuses (so why will it lead to unification?) The southern economy will actually be heavy for many years before using these uneducated workforce and resources . There is no real infrastructure in the north. After visiting South Korea three months ago, I can now understand how the South is trying to limit the South's information on what is going on in the north. I am worried that people in the south will sympathize with their northern brothers and begin promoting unity.

Peaceful unification is the official goal of both North and South. The stalemate of North Korea's nuclear weapons development deepened in July 2003, but the plan to choose a family reunion continued. At the Kim Jong Il and Kim Dae-jung summit meeting, the North and the South released the goal of "one Korea". The question is, what kind of thing will Korea do?
