For centuries many ethnic groups have been deprived of power and persecution by others. But people should know that no one is as intense as women's repression. In the novel by Mango Street of Sandra Cisneros, women living near Mango Street are subject to freedom. Three women, Rafaela, Mamacita, Sally are good examples. Everyone is trying to get rid of their terrible environment. Most of them failed, but at the beginning Sally seemed to have successfully escaped from her father.
Mango street's women's ethnic identity, and women's Holling Creek novel Mango Street House (Cisneros 1984) and Women Horror Ring Creek (Cisneros 1992) tie the new Americans through the eyes of Cisneros. The women of both novels are in the middle of the national identity and the American identity and, hence, "the new Americans" are formed. Mango street house Mango street house Sandra Cisneros uses vignette to expose stereotypes of men and women in urban communities and social women and men. In "House Marin" episode of Mango Street, a young girl wants to marry a boyfriend in Puerto Rico. I believe that she is beautiful and young will change all the problems. In the last paragraph, Esperanza talked about Marin. "Marin ... Waiting for the car to stop, the stars have fallen, someone is changing her life." This shows that female stereotypes depend mainly on men. The quote also said that Marine made her less by waiting for men to save her. The theme of this episode is to rely on men to solve all problems when women can solve their problems completely. My father and their culture prevent her from doing what she likes
