Research Project: Las Meninas' Painting Velázquez drew for the first time a portrait of King Spain for Las Meninas in 1656. Many other artists try to reproduce and make their own theme. Pablo Picasso produced a series of 55 paintings on the same theme as Las Meninas. As one of the most influential pictures, many artists are inspired by this memorable work. When I was ten years old, I woke up my first cultural awakening. When I entered the fifth grade at the summer vacation, my parents took me to travel to Spain.

After studying Las Meninas for a long time from far, I finally got the opportunity to see it with my own eyes. In January 2008 I went to Madrid's Prado with my teacher Ray Berry and he introduced my work at the faculty Velazquez. This is the second time he saw Las Meninas, the first time decades ago. I think that this is a pilgrimage - in addition to seeing this picture, we think that we must pay tribute to painters who have had a great influence on my view of Ray, paint and painting. Velázquez is a painter's painter, and regardless of their pedigree and style of painting, all painters I know will respect him. In all respects, Las Meninas is a masterpiece of Velázquez. Access to paintings is usually explained in sacred words - clearly you are not just watching Las Meninas, you will experience it. On a flight to Madrid, I doubt if Las Meninas in Prado will live to Las Meninas in my head. Hooray

One of the first cultural wake-ups occurred when I was 10 years old. - Literature can learn a certain period of ideology for society to write specific works. Whenever an individual writes, individuals can grasp the sense of depth that each author inspires through his work. In addition, through reactions of critics and commentators, people can get opinions of the public. No matter how much the world changes, the nature and purpose of literature will not change.
