Representing an Age, Oedipus the King and Everyman

Every society left its name in history somehow. Some people do this through war, but others pass technology. But they are also based on their religious view, usually polytheism or monotheism. All cultures have found ways to communicate stories creative, and these methods often offer several moral lessons. A more general way to pass this information is through the game. The theater that started in Greece has always been able to express cultural beliefs; in ancient times Oedipus represented polytheism in Greek times, but ordinary people represented medieval monotheism.

Works, King Oedipu is the Greek tragedy of Sophocles that happened in the Thebes kingdom. In 'Oedipus the King', Sophocles criticized the residents of Thebes in the form of Oedipus' speech, as the king mistakenly killed his father and incest with his mother. Therefore, this relationship seems to be tragic and unavoidable. During the play, King Oedipus, Sophocles used a dramatic sarcasm to shape the whole story. He is known for his ability to solve wisdom and mystery - he rescued the town of Tabe and became king by solving the mystery of Sphinx. However, Edips had stubbornly turned his attention to his truth. The literal meaning of his name ("swollen foot") is a clue to his identity - he was taken away from the house of Lyus as a baby, and his feet were on the hill. On his way to Thebes, he killed his biological father, he did not know who he was, and began marrying his biological mother Jocasta.
