Representation of Women in Action Films

People are talking about this issue on the role of female movies. From scholars to blogs, everyone has an opinion on how society explains the importance of women on large screens. For me, this discussion only reduces the focus of the true attention of the movie and the artistic expression of the story reflects the value of its writing time. New Yorker's respected critic, Paulyne Kyle, once said that past movies are like samples of the period in which they were made (Kyle).

This time women attracted young female readers and encouraged women not to need men as women of the time were strongly required to work in the factory to deliver supplies to soldiers during the war.
