Report of the Meeting with the School Board

At 7 pm Monday, October 14, 2013, I attended a school meeting at Bradford Area School District in Floyd C. Flets High School, a large group education room. This meeting is important for the school district teachers, students and schools. It provides information on classroom materials and prospects that I can see as a future teacher. At the beginning of the conference, the board members of the school entered the lecture room of the large group and sat on a group table leaned towards the audience.

Shamong Board of Education is scheduled to meet at the Indian Mills Memorial School tonight. The conference is open to the public, and general comments are made. Some of the items on the agenda include the principal's report, the principal's report, and a vote for preschool teaching classes raised in the 2017-2018 academic year. The meeting will start at 7 PM

Last Monday, Deshia Hargrave, a teacher at the Louisiana State High School, was restricted and forced to withdraw from the meeting of the local board of education. Her crime? Teachers in this area have not seen an increase in salary for many years, but the question that the Board approved an increase in salary of 30,000 dollars to the directors.

There were several drama events at the local board of education (you should know that one of her candidates is sitting in the board of education). The public school approached the Board of Education, gave the teacher a raise, and they got it. Sounds good. For some reason, when the school district got money, they did not use it to raise the salary of the teacher. By roundtrip, her candidate somehow - as a city councilor - was condemned. His opponent was sitting in the Board of Education. This is meaningless as he and his wife are working in both school districts. Why was he chosen? The city council does not even have the discretion to decide how to use these funds. The Board of Education is certainly like this

At the Board meeting of the Oakland Uniform School District (OUSD) school last month, members of the Board passed resolution 1617-0089. This reaffirmed the position of the Board of Education that all students have the right to attend school regardless of their immigration status. Or a member of a family. This resolution also indicates that school officials seek to protect information on identifying individuals from immigration control without seeking information on student's entry status.
