RepeatMasker Web Server

Select the search engine to use when searching the sequence. Cross_match will be slower, but usually more sensitive than other engines. ABBlast (officially known as WUBlast) is very fast and slightly sensitive. RMBlast is a RepeatMasker compatible version of the NCBI Blast tool suite. HMMER uses the new nfmmer program to search arrays based on the new Dfam database (human only).

Select a species from the dropdown box or select "Other" and enter the name of the seed in the text box. If your species replication database is small, try using a protein based repetitive mask.

Please select the format of the search result. The "tar" option returns the result as a compressed archive and "html" displays the result as a summary page with links to individual data files.

The "HTML" return method executes RepeatMasker on the sequence, and immediately returns the result to the Web browser if the sequence is short. When your results are ready the "email" return method will be sent to you by e-mail

If the query sequence is a mammal, the RepeatMasker can determine if repeated instances are expected to be present in one or more other mammalian species. This information can be used to annotate the output of the RepeatMasker or to control the masking process.

If the evidence is "strong" or "weak", duplicate masks are not seen in the first comparison species. If you choose to block, you can also block simple iterations by excluding the satellite.

Web server: The web server displays the page and runs the application through the web browser. The server to which the browser is currently connected is a web server that provides this page and the images displayed there. In this case, the client program is mostly a browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Safari. In addition to providing simple text and images, you can use the web server for any purpose, such as uploading and backing up files online via cloud storage services or online backup services.

Our current Internet model is also a centralized system. Data is stored on the web server. In the case of receiving data on the Internet such as browsing of a website or downloading a file, the web browser sends a request to the web server hosting the data, and the web server provides the requested data by providing the requested data I will respond. Centralized Internet is not fault tolerant. If the server fails, the entire system will be affected. A block chain is a cryptographically secure database that contains an immutable transaction history that includes a digital signature for each transaction. The digital signature of the block is generated using an encrypted hash function linking the new block to the previous block. Essentially, it's simply a huge ledger in the transaction history.
