Remembrance Day

Anniversary is a day commemorating the sexes that all Canadians served and sacrificed for our country. On this day, we encourage everyone, both old and young, to stop, appreciate, remember.

Since 1931, the memorial ceremony has played an important role in commemoration. Every year at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of November, we gather at Memorial Park, Community Hall, Workplace, School, and Home and commemorate everyone. Who fell down. For a while we mourn for the sacrifice of the many who serve the country and still recognize the courage of the people who serve them.

Anniversary is managed by Nova Scotia's anniversary law. Some employees have the right to receive benefits. Employees who need to work on Nova Scotia's anniversary can enjoy a vacation leave except those exempt from the bill. Employees who had not worked on that day had no salary on that day unless the employer provided additional benefits. Anniversaries must be observed on the actual day. Due to the First World War, civilians and soldiers lost many lives. More people are seriously injured. War left a large emotional scar on experienced soldiers and in the community their sons, brothers, fathers, uncle and even grandfather died. In the Netherlands, a memorial event will be held on May 4th every year. This is not a holiday. In the country, people remember soldiers and civilians who fell into various conflicts since the end of the Second World War. The main ceremonies will be held at Waalsdorpervlakte near The Hague, Grebbeberg near Wageningen, Amsterdam's Dam Square. Silence of 2 minutes was seen at 2 PM. After the anniversary, it is the release day of May 5. In Norway, the Norwegian forces commemorate the veteran's anniversary. In the Norwegian Diet, the Veteran 's Day is supposed to be called "Frigjøringsdagen" or the liberation date in Norway on the day of European victory. The ceremony is held every year in Akershus Castle where King Norway King Harald V. is. Such a first ceremony was held on May 8, 2011 and two Norwegian special forces operators were awarded a war cloth for the recent war deployment in Afghanistan.
