Rembrandt

Rembrandt Rembrandt is one of the great artists of the 17th century. He is also one of the greatest painters in the Western art world. Rembrandt got these titles correctly. He belongs to the Baroque era. Baroque art works are emotional and dramatic, and real people are the main theme. Rembrandt showed it all to his work. Rembrandt was born in Leiden on 15th July 1606. Leiden is the Netherlands city in the southern part of the Netherlands. Rembrandt is the son of a mill. Rembrandt began studying at Leiden's Latin language school where he studied mathematics, Greek, classical literature, geography and history. From here, Rembrandt was 14 years old and studied at Leiden University. I studied the Italian master of Renaissance at Swanenburch Rembrandt. Three years later, Rembrandt moved to Amsterdam where he studied art with Peter Lustman, known for historical paintings. Six months later, Rembrandt acquired all what he taught in 1625 and returned to Leiden.

From 1620 to 1624 or 1625, Rembrandt became an artist under the guidance of two great masters. His first painter, Jacob van Swanenburgh (1571-1638), studied with him for about three years. Rembrandt learn basic artistic skills with the help of van Swanenburgh. Van Swanenburgh focuses on scenes of hell and underworld, the ability to draw flames, and the way light reflects surrounding objects, which may affect later Rembrandt's work.
