Please analyze the meaning of the second awakening in American history. Reforming individuals, communities and social evil is a major move in front of the United States. Since it was embodied in the 19th century, I will appreciate the impulse of American reform (theme abolished, abstinence, male voting rights, women's rights / voting rights, sick people / orphans / orphans and elderly / crime You should include people and madmen). Discuss why there are countless reforms, discuss those historical precedents, and list examples of each reform.

Explain why reform movements appeared in the United States before war was not an easy task. Their surge is the product of multiple changes in American living and these changes do not necessarily lead to a revolutionary outbreak, but all these changes made it possible to form it together . At the most basic level, the reform movement requires people who believe that human efforts can change things and change. This is not necessarily the case. In their optimistic attitude towards change, prewar reformists were the successors to worldly and religious ideas from the 18th century to the early 19th century. On the secular side there is a new belief in human rationalism and its power to rebuild the world, reflected in the revolution of America and France. The prewar reform was also heavily dependent on the wave of the revival of the Protestant early 19th century, often called the second awakening. This form of evangelical Christianity encourages some believers (not all of them) to participate in the reform movement in a complex way.
