Abstract: In intercultural communication, the concept of cultural differences is often too emphasized. One way to solve this problem is to consider the dialectical approach to intercultural communication. Based on the narrative analysis of 44 students of university students, this study examines the specific dialectic difference of differences - similarity and examines ways to effectively incorporate this dialectic into intercultural education. Three themes on how narrators approach cultural differences and similarities provides a more understandable way to convey differences / similarity aspects and the need for this particular dialectical relationship element It is recognized as a need to emphasize. .

In this article, we will introduce the dialectic of culture and communication. Dialecticism, a well-known concept in philosophy and logic, emphasizes the inherent complexity and contradiction of human behavior. It applies to intercultural communication and helps to highlight the nature of intercultural communication and cultural procedures, relationships, contradictions and to minimize the tendency of stereotypes based on cultural patterns. There are at least six dialectic as a feature of intercultural communication. Culture - Personal, Personal - Situation, Difference - Similarity, Static Mechanics - History / Past - Current / Future, Privileges - Disadvantages

The above dialectic method will influence our intercultural relations. In particular, discriminatory dialectics may pose challenges to the formation of relationships Judith N. Martin and Thomas K. Nakayama, "Intercultural Intercultural Communication", 5th Edition. (Boston, Massachusetts, McGraw - Hill, 2010), 384 - 87. Differences in people's cultural identities may be obvious, but some effort is needed to discover the commonalities that can form the basis of relationships. Generally, perceived differences can also create anxiety and uncertainty, and such anxiety and uncertainty do not exist in cross-cultural relationships. When several similarities are found, the dialectic tension begins to balance and uncertainty and anxiety are resolved. Negative stereotypes may also hamper the progress of human relationship development, especially if individuals do not want to adjust existing beliefs. It may require more work to develop and maintain intercultural relations
