An important insight into the clinically important RFT is that the relationship framework is governed by two distinguishable features, the relationship environment and the functional situation. The relationship context determines the way and timing to associate the event and the functional context decides which function to translate according to the relational network. Clinically, the relationship environment determines your thinking and the functional context determines the psychological impact of your thoughts. Since the framework of human relations is learning and arbitrarily applicable, it is impossible to control the environment of human relations extremely thoroughly, and we can not derive a completely useless human relationship. For example, countless arbitrary clues can make the children feel that they are not as attractive and cute, clever, or worthwhile as they should be. As with all other learning, once it happens, it can be banned but can not be done without learning altogether.
