I am reading Māori culture and I am looking forward to traveling to New Zealand. Ta moko is a traditional Maori tattoo practice. The design of the tattoo carries the meaning of the person's iwi (family) and serves as the sole identifying information. Traditionally, even after they died, people can be identified by their tattoos, since they are engraved on the human skull.
Of course, since the first Europeans arrived in New Zealand, some people have already occupied ta moko, and today Maori tattoos are still popular among Pakeha (non Maorikiui) and tourists. I was surprised, but recently I discovered that some Maori tattoo artists are beginning to distinguish between Tamoko and what they call Kiritou. Ta moko has a specific cultural meaning, only Maori can wear; kirituhi is inspired by Maori style, but it does not have the same cultural meaning. Both are usually designed by tattoo artists dedicated to the recipient and are usually done manually.
This reminds me of my problem. That is to respect the bigger problem, the boundary of other cultures and funds. You think that the difference between ta moko and kirituhi is a good long-term solution to the damage caused by cultural occupations, or it only makes the potential ownership problem permanent. Do not you know the culture of others? I particularly want to know how indigenous peoples other than Maori deal with this problem.
TL; DR: Do you think this will help solve or extend potential problems when indigenous peoples respond to white's proper wishes by making cultural assets specialized for white people?
Edit: Thank you for your serious and thoughtful comments! I know that there is neither a correct answer nor a wrong answer to this.
The tribal design is usually large and covers a wonderful tattoo design designed for the body from tribal tribes of indigenous and indigenous cultures traditional tribes. Girls' tribal tattoo design always maintains a simple tattoo design of geometric shape. As used in the tattoo above, they always have various forms of information such as sun, eagle, stars and so on. Stellar designs are often encountered as symbols and in many cases the meaning of a particular star's symbol will depend on the number of points, such as five sharp corners or six or seven sharp stars. These stars are widely used in other major designs, but easy tattoo designs can also be made with only small stars. They are carried widely, around the feet, behind the neck and ears, around the fingers.
When people think of tribal tattoos, the design they think is the origin of Polynesian tattoos. If you want tattoo tattoos and Polynesian tattoos, they will look cool, so please think twice. Polynesian culture may have tribal nature, but Polynesian tattoos are not tribal tattoos. Do you remember that Polynesian tattoos are more spiritual and individual than not art or creativity? Polynesian tattoos are very important - you can complete genealogy, community rankings, personal records, professional skills - human stories. You can see where they grew up in a tattoo, what tribes they came from, and their achievements in life. In fact, Polynesian warriors and chiefs are wearing tattoos symbolizing strength - Polynesian warriors can not wear it.
