Reformation and the Baroque Period

The term baroque means an irregular shape of complex shape. It comes from an irregular shaped pearl which means unnatural and strange things. This is completely different from the explanation of music at the time. The style of music is very different from the art style at the time, so it is almost impossible to draw similarities between them. Instead, we need to draw independent conclusions about baroque music. An example we heard in classes is Solomon, Handel's oratorio called the third act. The third act is an excellent expression of baroque music written by Handel, showing the splendor and power of baroque music.
