Reflections on Three Conversations

When studying or writing this article, I was asked to see all aspects of my conversation from a sociological point of view. This is a summary of many hours, memories of my subject as well as learning. My first conversation began with a 54-year-old black Noel from Haiti. He grew up in the suburbs of the capital. He is the youngest of the fewest black families in the area. As his parents gave him a class, Noel noticed his social position when he was 9 years old.
