Nursing is definitely a hard work ... there is no mistake. I have many close friends who are nurses, I know that I will never do this! One thing I could not understand about nursing schools and dental health schools is the testing process. Before graduating, I have to take a three - board exam to obtain an RDH license. I got an 8 hour written exam (Notheast Regional Boards). Then I had to undergo a 4 hour clinical examination, and I had to find my own patient to take the exam. Finally, I received a computerized trial for three hours. It included structural identification and more questions. Given the fact that RDH works only in certain parts of the body, this is especially a test time madness. So, I got more tests to become RDH, not a nurse dealing with life and death everyday. Why does a nurse just have to take an exam to obtain a license? I know that you are in clinical experience in school, but we also like this.
