Enlightenment was a highlight of the 18th century as it brought dramatic changes. And it was regeneration of classical Greek and Roman ideas. Renaissance was a great era of knowledge growth and regeneration - in fact, the literal meaning of the word Renaissance is "regeneration" in French. For the Europeans this new age of enlightenment began in Florence and it was not until the end of the 14th century that the deaths of the blacks destroyed almost half of the European population after the Middle Ages. During the Renaissance philosophy, science, mathematics revolution dramatically changed the art and culture of Europe. In the Middle Ages, people should devote their lives to the church more than anything else. In stark contrast, the Renaissance humanist removed the medieval tradition and focused their attention on personal interest rather than religious demands. Humanist emphasizes the importance of secular joy and as an inspiration studies the classical texts of philosophers like Plato and Aristotle. With the advent of humanism, people are increasingly interested in travel and knowledge pursuit.
What was born in the Renaissance? Renaissance is known as regeneration of classical thinking, and in fact is a celebration or regeneration of humanism. The Middle Ages continued for over a thousand years. It was during this time that Christianity had spread. Christianity and the German culture of the tribe which invaded the Roman Empire changed eternity forever. Christianity had a great influence on the day-to-day activities of those days. With 1,500 people, people began to shine. Instead, they pay more attention to the classical ideas that appeared before Christian influences.
It is often said that the Renaissance is the resurrection of the culture of Greece and Rome, but many people thought that it sounded like Greek culture, and these ideas disappeared in the Middle Ages. Indeed, some scholars often make Greeks heard pagan completely, so evidence that regeneration is anti-Christian. It's not.
