To create a custom component, you can use Views or ViewGroups, one of the components of the Android UI. View is used for rendering and event processing, is the base class of all Android widgets (Buttons, Imageviews, Space, ProgressBar), ViewGroup is a base class of layout that can contain other views and groups of views .
