"Ballet" is a French dance word. Dance is an art. "Gisele" is a ballet about the eternal love of an eternal, beautiful peasant for an enchanting and noble number. It was provided by the Philippine Cultural Center and the Ballet Philippine Foundation and re-enacted by Nonoy Froilan at CCP Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo. I was very happy to see "Gisele" with my mother and my brother on August 18th last year. This show was barely visible at the far right F seats 113, 114, 115 of the balcony 2, but when I closed at 2 PM I could move closer and move.
Before the show began, I quickly glanced at the story of Giselle, so I knew what the story was. Regarding lighting, the stage is properly illuminated with various color tones (cyan, yellow, magenta, etc.) according to the atmosphere and atmosphere of the scene. It provides a spectacular outlook for the performer's movements to the audience, so it is an important element of any entertainment. Along with music, lighting can make the show transition smoothly and provide specific emotions to enhance tension and rest, depression and excitement. From afar, their makeup is hard to notice. Perhaps, if I sit on the stage with a couple of lines, I will see better. Approximately 50 dancers need enough space to perform everyday work eloquently so clearly understand the reason why limited items occupy a blank stage at first glance. In addition, the medieval village's entertainment is artistically expressed in the form of two small medieval houses through the background and design surrounded by huge trees. The fusion of harmonious classical music and elegant ballet is worth seeing. It made me refreshed and satisfied with my eyes. The dancers made little mistake, but their overall performance made me appreciate this art more. Ballet is the most strict discipline, minor mistakes will destroy the entire show
In the past it was impossible to easily cut, delete and edit the wrong scenes, so you can imagine clearly how people evaluate this work. Indeed, there is a unique experience in seeing live performances rather than shooting the show. I am convinced that there is a more wonderful ballet performance so I will give five of the five stars of "Gisele". It is the first time that I have critically analyzed ballet and it is impossible to compare. Starting my Ballet Art Tour with "Giselle" is a fair start, as it is expected that seeing more shows in the near future will get better. I am optimistic that "Gisele" is gathering most of the comments of young people who saw it.
Ballet is about a farmer 's girl named Gisele who died of broken heart after discovering her lover Albrecht was engaged to other people. Willis is a mysterious and supernatural woman who dances to death and summons Giselle from her tomb. They aimed at her lover for death, but thanks to Gisel 's great affection, he was released from their bondage. Willis is particularly unforgettable. They are the spirit of a virgin died before marriage. These creatures are very popular in ballet of a romantic era. Under the leadership of Queen Willis Queen Myrtha, they get easy numbers through dramatic patterns and synchronized movement, and control the stage with long tulle dress and stubborn facial expression. Etheric, the existence of Willis aims to create eerie emotions to form as ballets continue to include them in Albrecht. Because they all die with grief, they are ruthless and hateful people.
The second act was in the moonlight forest near Gisel's grave on her burial night. Hilary grieved over Gisel's death. He felt terror at Queen Malta, Queen of Willis. And that feminine spirit rose from the grave at night and quieted the people by dancing to strike them on death. Giselle was summoned from her grave and was welcomed by supernatural creatures and disappeared soon. Albrecht entered the tomb of Gisel and her spirit appeared before him. He was puzzled by the confession and sorrow of the girl he loved and asked for forgiveness. Her love is not waning, Giselle is happy to forgive him. When she disappeared into the woods, the scene was over when Albrecht ran after Giselle
